Start

Como head coach Cesc Fabregas has provided an optimistic update on the team’s injury situation ahead of their crucial Serie A match against AC Milan. In his pre-match press conference, Fabregas revealed some positive news regarding key players.

“Nico Paz is doing well and could be called up,” Fabregas announced, bringing relief to fans worried about the young midfielder’s recent injury scare. He also added, “Perrone will be called up as well.” However, the Spanish coach confirmed that not all players are available, stating, “Sergi Roberto and Moreno will definitely not be there.”

When asked about new signing Maxence Caqueret’s readiness to play, Fabregas responded, “Caqueret could make his debut from the start. I’ll talk to him today and then decide. He’s a player that fits our needs. He has experience and personality, and I have a lot of confidence in him.”

Fabregas also hinted at further transfer activity, saying, “More new players will arrive from the January market; it’s not over yet. All with the same characteristics that I ask for: young, ambitious, eager to grow and do well here in Como.”

Looking ahead to the match against AC Milan, Fabregas acknowledged the challenge ahead: “Milan is a strong team with great players in their squad. After Conceicao’s arrival on the bench, something has changed in their game setup, and they are more aggressive.” He added, “I think they will try to play vertically to put us in difficulty, but we are preparing and will be ready to play our best as always. We will try to have the same approach to the game that we had with Inter.”
