As Lazio gear up to face Porto in the fourth round of the Europa League, president Claudio Lotito expressed confidence in the team’s ability to perform well in both domestic and European competitions. After securing three consecutive victories against Dynamo Kiev, Nice, and Twente, Lazio is looking to extend their perfect start.
In a recent interview with Sky Sport, Lotito stated, “We have organized a team that is capable of competing in both competitions. I have tried to instill in the players that both are important. There is humility, determination, and a strong desire to achieve our goals.”
Lotito emphasized that the team’s success is a collective effort. “The results are the fruit of everyone’s work. No one can take sole credit. We are a big family and a great team in terms of organization and attitude,” he remarked.
He also praised the players’ collaborative spirit: “The players have an attitude of great cooperation, availability, and unity. Beyond their competitive potential, the spirit of the group and their competitive ferocity matter greatly. These are elements that may not be immediately visible but must be cultivated through consistent daily work.”
