Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic looks almost certain to miss the Bianconeri’s trip to face league-leaders Napoli on Friday. The Serbian international has been battling an ongoing injury since before the World Cup break and is yet to feature for the Old Lady in 2023. The 22-year-old has been suffering from pubalgia since October last year and was forced to sit out the Juve’s recent victories over Cremonese and Udinese.
Tuttosport report that the striker will almost certainly miss the trip to Naples on Friday and potentially a few more matches this season as he continues to recover from the groin injury.
For the moment, Vlahovic is working on a personal recovery plan that alternates work between the pitch and the gym and coach Max Allegri is avoiding forcing a recovery time on the player.
The former Fiorentina forward has scored seven goals in 15 appearances for the Old Lady this season, across all competitions.
