A report from CBS suggests that Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic could leave the club in January. The Serbian international has returned to Turin following his country’s elimination in the World Cup in Qatar and is undergoing treatment for an ongoing groin injury.
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs reports that there is a ‘real possibility’ that Vlahovic could leave the Old Lady as early as January, saying those close to the striker are not ruling out a sale.
According to the report, several top European sides are following the striker, including Chelsea, but nothing is at an advanced stage for the moment.
A potential transfer could be linked to changed in the Juventus board of directors and the ongoing investigations into the clubs finances, with the Bianconeri reportedly ‘open’ to the idea of cashing in on him.
PSG and Arsenal remain interested in the striker, and could be tempted by a move in January but doubts over Vlahovic’s ongoing injury need to be resolved first.
