Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic was not happy with his own performance in the Bianconeri’s 3-1 victory over Maccabi Haifa. The Serbian international had a host of chances to put The Old Lady further ahead but wasted several. Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the match, Vlahovic explained his own personal frustration with his performance:
The collapse near the end? It’s difficult to explain, we entered the game with concentration. I start with myself and say that I could do more on the passes that were given to me, I could do better and I am not satisfied.
The important thing was to win and we must continue to work with our heads down and in silence.
An Important goal? Definitely, attackers live on goals, it’s the most important thing for us but I’m focused on the team’s victory and if I can help well, the rest comes accordingly, if I don’t do things without lucidity, I have to stay calmer and more focused.
I should have taken better advantage of the opportunities we had but now let’s think about Saturday and work in silence.
Di Maria? I am honored to play with him, to be able to learn with him, I would like to take advantage of as many moments as possible with him on the pitch.”
