Victor Osimhen’s availability for the upcoming clash between Inter and Napoli hangs in the balance with reports suggesting he could miss the match.
According to an update from Napoli’s official website following today’s training session, “Osimhen underwent personalized training on the field due to muscular fatigue experienced towards the end of the match against Barcelona.”
Osimhen’s potential absence poses a significant concern for Napoli, given his prowess upfront and their lack of goals in his absence. The Partenopei have struggled in attack for a large part of the season, but the arrival of Francesco Calzona has revitalised the form of both Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Nigerian striker has found the net 13 times this season in all competitions, while Kvaratskhelia has 10 goals in 37 games so far in the 2023-24 campaign.
