Following their return to Serie A, Venezia are looking for attacking talent to cover their forward line, and are being lined with Gaetano Oristanio. The 21-year-old playmaker, currently owned by Inter, spent the last season on loan at Cagliari.
Sky Sport Italia detail how initial discussions have taken place between Inter and the newly-promoted Venezia to explore the possibility of a transfer. Inter are keen to retain a buy-back option for the young midfielder.
During his stint with Cagliari, Oristanio made 27 appearances across league and cup competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist. These were his first goals in Italy’s top flight. Having developed through Inter’s youth system, Oristanio also gained valuable experience playing in the Eredivisie with FC Volendam before his time at Cagliari.
