Torino manager Paolo Vanoli addressed the media ahead of his team’s Serie A match against Bologna, touching on various topics including the ongoing transfer saga surrounding midfielder Ivan Ilic.
The Granata currently sit in 11th place in the league table and are looking to find consistency that has eluded them since the start of the season. Vanoli began the press conference by discussing the upcoming match:
“We will be playing against a great team that is still growing. They have consolidated with the transfer market, they beat Atalanta in the Coppa Italia, and they’ve made their mark in the Champions League. We’ll need a game of attitude and personality.”
The coach then turned his attention to the transfer market, specifically addressing the situation with Ivan Ilic:
“The player has returned to Turin knowing that the market is still open. From what I know, there are still ongoing negotiations. He has overcome his injury and is continuing with rehabilitation. If he stays after the market closes, we’ll be ready to have an added value in the squad.”
