Torino target Benfica’s Cabral in striker search

Start

Torino have intensified their pursuit of a new striker, with Benfica’s Arthur Cabral emerging as the latest target. The Italian club has submitted an initial offer to bring the Brazilian forward back to Serie A, where he previously played for Fiorentina.

Gianluca di Marzio reports that the Granata’s interest in Cabral comes as part of a broader search for attacking reinforcements. Torino’s sporting director, Davide Vagnati, has been actively exploring options to bolster the team’s frontline for the second half of the season.

While Cabral is a new name on Torino’s radar, the club has not abandoned its interest in Everton’s Beto. Negotiations for the former Udinese striker have been ongoing for several days, with Vagnati reportedly making a recent push to secure his services.

Everton’s stance on Beto remains uncertain, as the Premier League club is undergoing changes following new ownership. The Toffees are also considering their options in light of an injury to another striker, Armando Broja, which could affect their willingness to part with Beto.
