Torino have made a new offer to Union Berlin for the acquisition of former Inter and Atalanta wing-back Robin Gosens. Following a 9th place finish last season and the appointment of Paolo Vanoli as head coach, Torino are actively seeking to strengthen its squad for the upcoming challenges.
According to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Granata are currently in discussions with Union Berlin regarding a loan deal for Gosens. There is an openness from the German side to consider a loan arrangement, and Torino are now awaiting a response. Last season, Gosens made 37 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists.
Torino’s initial offer includes a loan with an option to buy, reflecting their intent to bring the experienced wing-back back to Serie A. The club is keen to finalize the deal soon to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
