Thiago Motta expressed his enthusiasm on his first day as Juventus head coach in an interview with the club’s official channels. The Italian-Brazilian manager shared his initial impressions and goals for the upcoming season.

“I’m happy, I’m delighted,” Motta began. “I was greeted by fans waiting outside, many young people who conveyed their eagerness for the season to start and to see the team play. I’ve found myself in a wonderful place to work. There’s no need to say that this club is historic; I’m convinced that together we will do a great job”.

Regarding the upcoming season for the Old Lady, Motta stated: “It will certainly be a challenging but beautiful season. It will be great to play many matches. We hope to play the maximum number of games possible because that means we’re doing well, and this is our objective. We will give everything on the field so that in the end, we can all be proud of this team”.

Motta’s appointment comes after a successful stint at Bologna, where he led the team to a historic Champions League qualification. His move to Juventus marks a significant step in his coaching career, taking charge of one of Italy’s most prestigious clubs.

The new Juventus coach’s emphasis on playing “as many matches as possible” suggests an ambition to compete strongly across all competitions, including Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the Champions League. His focus on making the team and fans proud aligns with Juventus’s tradition of excellence and winning mentality.
