Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is closing in on a move to Napoli this summer with only the final details to be resolved. The move has been on the cards since negotiations between the two sides began a few weeks back with the player no longer featuring in coach Antonio Conte’s plans.
The French midfielder spent the last season on loan with Ligue 1 side Lyon and has reportedly been told he will be allowed to leave before the window closes.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the move is now close with the Partenopei expected to sign him on loan for €1m. Napoli are also expected to cover most of Ndombele’s salary for the upcoming season with the club retaining an option to buy for €30m next summer.
Ndombele is expected to be fill in for Fabian Ruiz who is close to completing his move to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming week.
