Talks at an advanced stage for Paulo Dybala’s move to Al-Qadsiah move

Start

The saga surrounding Paulo Dybala’s future has intensified, with Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah emerging as a serious contender for the Argentine’s signature. Mauro Cetto, Al-Qadsiah’s chief scout and Dybala’s former teammate at Palermo, has provided insight into the ongoing negotiations.

In a recent interview with DSports Radio (via Calciomercato), Cetto revealed that talks with Dybala have progressed significantly. He stated, “We’ve made considerable progress with Dybala, but the deal isn’t closed yet. There are still some details to iron out.” Cetto, who played alongside Dybala at Palermo, added, “I’ve spoken with him quite a bit. Only a few minor details remain before it becomes official.”

The Saudi club’s interest in Dybala stems from their search for an offensive player. Cetto explained, “We were looking for an attacking player, and once Dybala’s name came up, he became our top priority.”

Despite the advanced state of negotiations, Dybala’s final decision is still pending. The player trained with Roma today, indicating he’s taking time to carefully consider his options. While staying in Rome remains his preferred choice, the realization that his role in the team may be diminishing makes Al-Qadsiah’s lucrative offer of €60 million per season an attractive proposition.

Dybala is reportedly giving serious thought to the Saudi offer, and a final decision could be reached in the coming hours. The potential move represents a significant shift in the player’s career and could mark the end of his time with Roma after just two seasons.
