Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is on the verge of leaving Juventus, with his future likely in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr. Reports from the Athletic earlier today suggested that the Polish international had agreed terms on a two-year deal with the Saudi side.
Sky Sport Italia confirm the news, saying Al Nassr is currently the most concrete option for Szczesny’s next club, and Juventus arenow awaiting an official offer from the Saudi Arabian side.
An agreement between the two clubs is expected to be straightforward, as Juventus is keen to offload the Polish goalkeeper to free up his substantial salary.
Juve are prepared to accept an offer of around €5 million for Szczesny which will help the club manage its wage bill more effectively.
The Bianconeri have already lined up Michele Di Gregorio from Monza as a replacement for Szczesny.
