Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni but the Azzurri international isn’t keen on leaving. The Nerazzurri are looking to balance the books, despite having sold Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku last summer to raise funds.
Reports have suggested that the club will look to cash in on either Lautaro Martinez or Bastoni this summer in an effort to raise funds for the signing of Torino defender Gleison Bremer and a possible return for Lukaku on loan.
The Evening Standard report Spurs boss Antonio Conte is keen on working with Bastoni again, having coached him at Inter two seasons ago.
Despite the interest from the Premier League, side, the suggestion is that Bastoni is ‘reluctant’ to leave Inter and would take some convincing.
Spurs are reportedly offering a deal worth more than £50million for the 23-year-old but while the move is not thought to be dead in the water, Spurs are facing a challenge to convince Bastoni, 23, to join Antonio Conte in London.
