Premier League side Tottenham Hotpsur have a real interest in Juve midfielder Weston McKennie with Antonio Conte reportedly keen on the US International. McKennie is currently featuring for his country at the World Cup, despite having featured sparingly for the Bianconeri this season, partly due to injury.
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs recently wrote that Spurs were ‘seriously‘ interested in the 24-year-old with ‘real substance’ to the links between Tottenham and Mckennie.
Today’s Il Corriere dello Sport write that the midfielder is on Conte’s wish list as Spurs are likely to reinforce in the January transfer window.
The player was bought to Juventus by current Tottenham Sporting director Fabio Paratici who is reportedly working to bring him to North London with an offer expected to arrive soon.
Juve are not lacking for midfielders, having shifted their focus to youth players Fabio Miretti and Nicolo Fagioli, while Paul Pogba is expected to return to the starting XI in the New Year.
