SportItalia: Juventus in talks for Zirkzee

Start

Sportitalia claim that Juventus are once again interested in a potential move for Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee. Milan were thought to be close to agreeing a move for the Dutch international, but are still trying to reduce the amount of commission due to the players’ agent.

Journalist Alfredo Pedulla now report that ‘a formidable alliance between Kia Joorabchian and Cristiano Giuntoli has come to light, with potential implications for the transfer saga of Joshua Zirkzee.’

According to the report, Juventus could resurface as a strong contender for the Dutch forward, capitalizing on the current stand-off between Milan and the agent. Pedulla writes that ‘last Thursday, Juventus seemed to take a backseat, but it appears to have been a strategic move, positioning themselves to seize opportunities arising from any missteps by their rivals.’

Milan, who had made initial advances last Thursday, now finds themselves navigating through fluctuating terms. The club is left with a singular option: meeting Joorabchian’s demands, no questions asked. Otherwise, they may have to redirect their focus towards other targets for their attack.

Pedulla suggests that the potential departure of Federico Chiesa, Matias Soule or both players, could help fund the potential move for Zirkzee.
