Sky Sport: Roma owners consider high-profile replacement for Juric

Start

Following Roma’s disappointing 3-2 defeat to Hellas Verona at the Bentegodi stadium, the future of manager Ivan Juric appears increasingly uncertain. According to Sky Sport journalist Angelo Mangiante, Roma’s owners, Dan and Ryan Friedkin, are already making preparations to replace Juric, potentially within the next few hours.

The Friedkins are reportedly setting their sights on appointing a high-profile manager who can quickly connect with the fanbase and turn the team’s fortunes around. This move comes as Roma finds itself in a precarious position after recent poor performances.

Interestingly, a return for former Roma player and manager Daniele De Rossi has been ruled out. The Friedkins reportedly do not believe De Rossi is ready to tackle the challenges currently facing the club.

The next 24 hours are expected to be crucial for Juric’s future at Roma. The Friedkin ownership group is set to make a final decision on whether to part ways with the coach before the upcoming international break.
