Skriniar: ‘I always followed the directions of the Inter doctors’

Start

Inter defender Milan Skriniar has been struggling of late due to a back injury and has played just 11 minutes of football over the last five matches. The Slovak took to instagram, as quoted by Sky Sport Italia, to expel rumours that he had visited France to use a Paris Saint-Germain clinic in relation to his lower back pain, stating that he has ‘always followed all the medical directions of Inter’s medical staff.’ He is now back in Milan after visiting with the doctors of the national team but the issues are not improving, with the Slovak doctor stating that ‘his condition has worsened.’ The 28-year-old will be playing his last season with Inter after agreeing a deal to join PSG in the summer once his contract expires and so the Nerazzurri will have to find a replacement for their star defender.

Skriniar on Instagram:

“I would like to tell you that I have always followed all the medical directions of Inter’s medical staff and its outside specialists. Inter subjected me to further specialist examination yesterday, which confirmed the diagnosis, and so as early as today, in the presence of the medical staff, I began a new course of treatment prescribed by the club’s trusted external doctor.”

The Slovak national team doctor:

“His condition has worsened, now he has pain even when stationary.”
