Ahead of the Serie A clash between Fiorentina and Inter Milan, head coach Simone Inzaghi spoke to Inter TV about the challenges his team will face against a formidable opponent. Fiorentina comes into the match riding a wave of seven consecutive victories, making them a significant threat. “It will be a very difficult match, and much depends on our approach. We know they are coming off seven straight wins, so we are definitely up against a challenging opponent,” Inzaghi stated.
Inzaghi reflected on Inter’s recent performance, noting their strong form since a derby loss to AC Milan in September. “Since July 13, we have been working well, and we are pleased with our results over the past two months. We have had excellent matches, but we know tomorrow will be tough.” He emphasized that squad rotation has been key to their success, saying, “Rotations are not a limitation for us; we manage all our players well. We have some absences for tomorrow’s match, but we will go there to put in a good performance.”
The coach also highlighted the improvement in Inter’s defensive play, with the team achieving seven clean sheets in their last nine matches. “We are working on both phases of the game; the entire team is performing well together. Our goal is always to improve as a unit,” he added.
