Serie A | Fiorentina v Torino: Probable starting lineups

Start

Fiorentina face a minor setback as they prepare for their upcoming match againstTorino, with midfielder Danilo Cataldi sidelined due to a thigh issue. This opens up opportunities for Amir Richardson, Rolando Mandragora, and newcomer Michael Folorunsho to vie for a starting position alongside Yacine Adli in the center of the pitch.

The Viola attack will be spearheaded by Moise Kean, who has been in impressive form this season, netting 15 goals across all competitions. He’s likely to be supported by either Albert Gudmundsson or Lucas Beltran. Beltran, fresh off scoring a penalty in Fiorentina’s recent defeat to Monza, is on the verge of surpassing his goal involvement tally from last season, currently standing at seven in 16 Serie A appearances. Gudmundsson, on the other hand, has struggled to replicate his Genoa form due to injury setbacks.

Torino’s offensive lineup faces challenges of its own, with captain Duvan Zapata ruled out for the remainder of the season. This leaves Antonio Sanabria and Che Adams as the primary options to lead the attack.

In midfield, Torino manager Paolo Vanoli, who is serving a touchline ban, must contend with the absence of Karol Linetty due to suspension and the continued injury of Ivan Ilic. This situation may see Samuele Ricci and Adrien Tameze step into starting roles, as Gvidas Gineitis has only recently resumed full training.
