Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani addressed fans during a meet-and-greet session at the team’s pre-season training camp in Dimaro. He shared his thoughts on various topics, including the new manager Antonio Conte and his teammates.
Speaking about Conte, Rrahmani expressed confidence in the new coach’s abilities: “The fact that he has managed many top teams, where it’s complicated to coach and succeed, speaks for itself.” He also touched on the potential tactical shift to a three-man defense, stating, “Each of us must follow the manager’s instructions. Normally, it takes some time to automate movements and choices. The only thing we can do now is work, try to understand what the manager wants, and implement it on the field.”
Regarding captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani emphasized the importance of his recent clarification about staying with the team: “We were all waiting for that clarification because he’s our captain. We’re happy he’s staying here with us.”
The Kosovar defender also commented on new signing Rafa Marin, praising the young center-back’s abilities: “He was chosen by our director and our coach, so he must be strong. You can already see his qualities; he’s definitely a strong player.”
