Cristiano Ronaldo touched on his time at Juventus and how his first title in Turin was a ‘great memory’. The Portuguese superstar spent three years with the Bianconeri, joining them from Real Madrid in a €117m deal. He went on to score 101 goals in 134 games for the Old Lady, and speaking to LiveScore’s ‘Memorable matches’ show on Youtube, he recounted his time with Juventus:
“I scored a header against Donnarumma. When you win a title it’s all special because during the year you dedicate yourself to achieving something great.
“When you get your first trophy in a team it is always special. This one with Juventus is definitely a great memory.
“For me Juventus was a different journey in my life. I signed at the age of 33, opening a new chapter after being at Real Madrid for nine years.”
Ronaldo ultimately left Juve in 2021, returning to Manchester United before falling out very publicly with manager Erik ten Hag. The 37-year-old agreed to leave the club and has begun a final chapter in his career, playing for Saudi side Al-Nassr.
