Roma are expected to meet with the representatives of Nicolo Zaniolo to discuss a contract extension. The 22-year-old scored the only goal in Roma’s 1-0 victory of Feyenoord midweek, helping his club to their first UEFA trophy in their history.
Zaniolo has a contract with the Giallorossi until 2024 but has attracted the attention of Premier League sides as well as Juventus, who have a long-standing interest in him.
Transfer journalist Nicolò Schira reports that there is a meeting planned in the coming days between Roma and agent Claudio Vigorelli to discuss a contract extension while also negotiating an increase in salary for the youngster.
The Italy international has spent four seasons in Rome, making 118 appearances and scoring 22 goals.
