Roma are determined to move swiftly within the transfer window as they have set their sights on Madrid outcast Alvaro Odriozola.
According to reports from LaRoma24, the Giallorossi are plotting an opening bid for the Spanish full-back in order to reel him in at the Stadio Olimpico, relying heavily on Mourinho’s relationship with Odriozola’s agent Oscar Ribot.
So far this season, the 26 year-old has failed to make a single appearance across all competitions under Ancelotti at Madrid.
However, the Spanish international had an impressive loan-spell at Fiorentina last season where displayed his quality in a consistent manner, accumulating a total of 25 appearances within the Serie A for La Viola.
With Dutchman Rick Karsdorp is seemingly likely to depart the capital club following his fallout with Mourinho, Roma view Odriozola as the ideal successor for the wing-back position on the right flank.
