A report from Calciomercato claims Roma have already agreed terms with Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka as a free agent. The 23-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has been the subject of interest from a number of Europe’s top clubs, including Barcelona and Liverpool.
Calciomercato write that the Giallorossi are looking to the summer and want to reinforce their squad in key areas, starting with their potential signing of Houssem Aouar who has is reportedly close to a move.
The next on their list is reportedly Ndicka, who they have reportedly agreed personal terms with on a deal with roughly €2m a season, given that they will acquire him for free when the season ends.
Calciomercato write that the French international would likely be guaranteed a starting place in the Roma defence, alongside Mancini and Chris Smalling, and medicals for the player could be arranged very soon.
Ndicka began his career in Auxerre youth academy before making the move to Germany to join Frankfurt in 2018, where he has been ever since. The versatile centre-back has made 193 performances for Die Adler, scoring 11 goals and helping them lift the UEFA Europa League in 2022.
