Giacomo Raspadori’s future at Napoli hangs in the balance as multiple Serie A clubs express strong interest in the talented Italian forward. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Roma have made a significant move, initiating fresh contact with Napoli’s management to explore the potential transfer.
The 24-year-old striker, who joined Napoli from Sassuolo for €32 million in 2022, has struggled to secure consistent playing time under Antonio Conte. Despite collecting 94 appearances for Napoli with 13 goals and 9 assists, Raspadori has only managed 14 appearances this season, totaling 515 minutes of play.
Atalanta have also entered the transfer race, adding complexity to Roma’s pursuit. Juventus, previously interested, have withdrawn from negotiations following the arrival of Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Raspadori’s motivation for a transfer is clear: he seeks more playing time to maintain his position in the national team under Luciano Spalletti. Roma appears well-positioned to accommodate his ambitions, with plans to facilitate his arrival by offloading Eldor Shomurodov to Empoli.
