Roma secured a 1-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv in their Europa League match at the Stadio Olimpico. Following the game, Roma manager Ivan Juric shared his thoughts in a post-match press conference.

Juric began by expressing satisfaction with the team’s performance: “I saw many positive things. I think the team did well. In the last 15 minutes, we deliberately dropped back, but even this phase went well.”

When asked about Enzo Le Fee’s performance, Juric was optimistic: “Le Fee has everything to improve. He has great intelligence and can give more. He can do much better, and I’m very confident. Today he made some wrong passes, but I’m sure he’ll do better in the future.”

Addressing the absence of Mats Hummels from the starting lineup, Juric explained: “I see Hummels in Ndicka’s position. He has the attitude of a top professional. I must thank him for his behavior. At this moment, I see Ndicka doing very well, and he’s growing game by game. In the defensive phase, I don’t like to change much. I want to have certainties and security. Now I see Ndicka as very strong. Hummels will give us a great hand. So far, it’s my fault he hasn’t played, not his.”

Regarding Niccolò Pisilli’s position, Juric commented: “Pisilli can play both as a midfielder and as an attacking midfielder. He has the ability to adapt well on the field and has ample room for growth. I’ll use him in the middle or up front.”

Juric also praised Bryan Cristante’s intelligence: “Cristante has an intelligence beyond normal. He sees things that others don’t see. With him, you can talk about deep things in football. He understands situations in a crazy way. There’s something, but it remains between me and him. I believe he can do much more.”
