Sky Sport Italia report that Roma have shown interest in Yankuba Minteh, a Gambian forward currently owned by Newcastle United. The 19-year-old spent the last season on loan at Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, where he made a significant impact.
During his loan spell at Feyenoord, Minteh showcased his talent by scoring 11 goals and providing 6 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. His impressive performance has caught the attention of several clubs, including Roma.
The transfer fee for Minteh is estimated to be around €30 million. Roma, under the guidance of Daniele De Rossi, are keen to bolster their attacking options and sees Minteh as a valuable addition. However, they face competition from Marseille and Everton, who are reportedly ahead in the race to sign the young forward.
