A report from Spain claims that Roma are in advanced talks with Memphis Depay’s entourage as they look to secure his signing in the January transfer window. Depay is expected to leave Barcelona ahead of the summer, given he has six months left on his contract with the Blaugrana and has struggled for playing time.
The Dutchman continues to be linked with Manchester United and Tottenham as well as the Giallorossi, who are considered heavy favourites to secure the player.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Roma are working to bring in Depay to the club in January with a view to signing him on loan until the end of the season.
The suggestion is that Depay wants to feature more prominently as part of a new project and has asked his agents to secure a January move.
