Roma eyeing Matías Soulé as Dybala’s successor

Start

Roma are reportedly eyeing Juventus youngster Matias Soule as a potential long-term successor for Paulo Dybala. La Joya’s contract is set to expire in a year, and his release clause, applicable to clubs outside Italy, could be activated. Despite Dybala’s eventful summer, Roma and the Argentine star have yet to discuss extending his stay in the Italian capital.

In light of this uncertainty, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma are exploring alternatives to Dybala for the upcoming season. With Tommaso Baldanzi already on the roster, the Giallorossi are interested in adding another young talent to enhance De Rossi’s squad.

The newspaper highlights Matías Soulé as the ideal candidate. Roma view him as the perfect heir to Dybala, seeing him as a younger ‘clone’ of the seasoned former Juventus player.

Currently owned by Juventus, Soulé is on loan at Frosinone. However, the player might seek a permanent move in the summer transfer window, potentially paving the way for a switch to Roma.
