Roma centre-back Diego Llorente is currently under close observation following an injury sustained during the second half of the team’s recent victory over Feyenoord. The Spanish defender was forced to leave the pitch on a stretcher after suffering a blow to the head during the match. Evan Ndicka was brought in as his replacement.
Following the incident, Llorente was promptly transported to the Villa Stuart clinic for immediate medical attention. Fortunately, initial CT scans have shown no significant abnormalities.
However, according to reports from Il Tempo, the severity of the injury may be greater than initially anticipated. There are concerns that Llorente could face an extended period on the sidelines as a result.
The Giallorossi have struggled with a series of defensive injuries in recent months, leaving them with a depleted back-line ahead of a crucial second part of the season.
