Tullio Tinti, the agent of Napoli striker Giacomo Raspadori, has responded to rumors linking his client with a potential move to Juventus. Speaking on the sidelines of the AIACS (Italian Association of Football Agents and Clubs) electoral assembly, Tinti provided insight into Raspadori’s current situation and his relationship with Juventus’ sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli.
“Raspadori to Juventus? Giacomo is happy in Naples, but Cristiano Giuntoli knows him well and admires him,” Tinti stated, acknowledging the existing connection between the player and Juventus’ sporting director.
Raspadori, born in 2000, is currently under contract with Napoli until June 2028, earning a net salary of 2.5 million euros per year. The Italian international joined Napoli in the summer of 2022 from Sassuolo for a fee of 32 million euros. Since his arrival, he has scored 12 goals in 86 appearances for the Partenopei, while also providing 9 assists and receiving 4 yellow cards.
The speculation surrounding Raspadori’s potential move to Juventus comes as the Bianconeri are reportedly in the market for a backup striker to Dusan Vlahovic. With the January transfer window approaching, there’s growing interest in whether Raspadori might consider a move away from Naples.
Tinti’s comments suggest that while Raspadori is content at Napoli, the admiration from Giuntoli, who was instrumental in bringing the player to Napoli during his time as the club’s sporting director, could be a factor in any future transfer discussions.
As the January window draws closer, it remains to be seen whether Juventus will make a concrete move for Raspadori or if the player will continue his development at Napoli.
