Raffaele Palladino Anticipates Monza-Cagliari Clash: “Challenges Around the Corner”

Start

Monza coach Raffaele Palladino warned his team against complacency ahead of a visit from in-form Cagliari. The Biancorossi have climbed up to 10th place in the Serie A standings, capped off by a scintillating 3-2 win over Genoa last weekend. Speaking ahead of the visit from the Sardinians, Palladino spoke of the danger that Cagliari can pose and touched on the rich vein of form that Dany Mota has struck this season:

“We’re hosting a team in good form, and they have a very passionate fanbase. From my point of view, they are difficult to face. I know Mister Ranieri well and his principles of play. History speaks for him, and personally, I have fond memories with him. He’s a coach to be respected, and there’s always something to learn. Cagliari is currently in their best moment of the season, and the pitfalls for Monza are just around the corner. I expect and want to see a display of temperament and personality from my team,” stated Palladino.

Reflecting on individual performances, Palladino was quick to highlight the progress of Dany Mota when asked about it: “Growing and improving is the minimum; every day, we strive for a little extra. Mota is an example: this is exactly what I expected from him. He just needed to unlock himself, and I nudged and prodded him in the right direction, and these are the results. But like him, there are many others who have grown and are performing well, such as Birindelli, Bondo, Colpani. But also Akpa Akpro, Colombo. I truly want to mention them all.”
