The entourage of Milan forward Rafael Leao have reportedly received an ‘important’ offer but Milan do not want to sell. The 22-year-old has enjoyed his best season yet with the Rossoneri, scoring 12 goals to help the club to first place with just 4 games left in the Scudetto race.
Journalist Antonio Vitiello reports that the players entourage have recieved the offer from a ‘foreign’ club, however Milan are currently in the process of working on a renewal for the player. Should they choose to sell, they would only be willing to accept an offer between €70-80m.
The club management are proposing a new salary of €4.5m a season, but Leao is asking for more to renew his deal. It’s expected that talks may remain on hold until the future of the club is decided with Investcorp reportedly close to agreeing a takeover.
Despite the foreign interest, Vitiello reports the player is happy in Milan and both parties are working to agree a new deal.
