La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that PSG are also expressing an interest in Dusan Vlahovic. which could spark an auction for the Juve striker. Reports circulated yesterday that Bayern Munich had already met with the Bianconeri regarding the Serbian international, but the offer and asking price were too far apart.
Gazzetta report that both Atletico Madrid and Chelsea have expressed an interest in Vlahovic and have made concrete proposals to Juventus, however both offers include counterparts. Atleti are ready to offer Alvaro Morata to Juve as part of the deal, while Romelu Lukaku has been proposed by the Blues.
The newspaper points out that both deals are unlikely, especially given the Belgian strikers recent experiences with the Bianconeri, while Juve are reportedly not in any hurry to deal.
Gazzetta also claim that Vlahovics’ sale is a reality despite Juve investing €80 million to bring him to Turin just over a year ago. The report outlines how a lack of European football next season will force the clubs hand to make an expensive sale this summer.
For now, Bayern remain in the lead, but Gazzetta point out that PSG should not be discounted in the race to sign Vlahovic, especially as they have been following him closely in recent months.
