There are positive signs for Juventus as both Dusan Vlahovic and Paul Pogba are on their way back to full fitness. The Bianconeri have been without the services of the Serbian striker since before the international break as he continues to recover from pubalgia, while Pogba has missed the entire season with an ongoing knee injury that ultimately required operation.
Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti now reports that there are ‘positive’ indicators as both players have resumed working with the ball, a further step towards their return to full training.
The news is encouraging for coach Max Allegri as he hopes to rely on the duo as Juve prepare for the Europa League, Coppa Italia and to test Napoli in the title race.
The training program for the pair will now include a gradual increase in workload while monitoring their reactions. Should the next stage go well, then both Pogba and Vlahovic will return to training within the group.
