After several medical assessments on the 21 year-old central midfielder, positive signs for Juventus prodigy Nicolo Fagioli have been revealed after the injury scare.
During his call-up for the Italian national team’s pair of friendlies against Albania and Austria, the promising play-maker was forced to return to Turin after sustaining an injury ahead of their last friendly prior to the start of the 2022 World Cup.
A lot of worrisome casted the Bianconeri camp as Allegri’s squad is already filled with quite a handful of injured players whom are on the road towards recovery ahead of the second half of the Serie A campaign. However, the stress has been alleviated after several tests have been run on Fagioli upon his return to Turin.
According to reports from Tuttojuve, the tests revealed that Fagioli endured a foot injury, forcing him out of action for several weeks. The medical team will meet with the Italian international within several weeks time to evaluate his progress, but the rising star has plenty of time to heal for when the season resumes.
