Tuttosport claim that Paul Pogba’s anti-doping tribunal hearing will be postponed after his lawyers put forward a request. The French midfielder was scheduled to have his case hear on January 18, 2024, but various Italian newspapers suggest that this will now be delayed.
According to Turin-based Tuttosport, the new hearing will take place at some point after February 15 as Pogba’s legal team have asked for more time to prepare their defence.
The FIGC Prosecutor has requested a four-year ban for the 30-year-old midfielder following a positive test was returned after a Serie A match between Juventus and Udinese.
Pogba has been suspended since the positive test was returned and is training alone while earning a ‘basic’ salary of €42,000 a year.
