Juventus have been given a boost ahead of their match against Atalanta this weekend as both Dusan Vlahovic and Paul Pogba returned to team training today. The pair have been long-term injury absentees with Pogba yet to play a competitive minute of football for the Bianconeri following his knee injury in pre-season training.
Vlahovic has been out with an ongoing groin injury and despite featuring briefly at the World Cup, the Serbian hasn’t featured for Juve since October last year.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio now reports that both Vlahovic and Pogba joined their Juve teammates in today’s training session in Continassa and while they aren’t expected to feature in the squad for the midweek Coppa Italia match against Monza, they should be back for the Atalanta game on Sunday.
The Bianconeri are also close to recovering Leonardo Bonucci, Juan Cuadrado and Mattia De Sciglio as coach Max Allegri looks to bolster his squad for the upcoming Coppa Italia and Europa League matches.
