Tuttosport report how Paul Pogba’s future remains uncertain as he looks for a new club to revive his career following the reduction of his suspension. With his relationship with Juventus set to end, the French midfielder has received a strong endorsement from Emmanuel Petit, a 1998 World Cup winner and former Arsenal star.

Petit believes Pogba would be an excellent fit for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, citing the player’s desire for redemption after the doping case. “Honestly, Arsenal should take a gamble on signing Paul Pogba. He will give everything on the pitch. It will take a few weeks for him to be fully fit, but he will be so eager to clear his name,” Petit stated.

The former midfielder emphasized Pogba’s suitability for Arsenal’s midfield, describing him as tall, strong, and very creative. Petit added, “We all know how happy Pogba usually is. He needs love and trust, and I think Arteta and Arsenal can offer him that.”

Petit is confident in Pogba’s motivation to return to top form, despite being sidelined for over a year. “Paul Pogba will become a free agent at 32. I can’t remember the last time I saw him smile. Pogba wants revenge; he wants to prove to himself and fans worldwide that he’s not finished yet. The French national team has missed him,” Petit explained.

He continued, “Apparently, he’s working hard to get back in shape for the game. I know Pogba’s personality; I know he would do anything to get back on the field.”

Petit isn’t the first to suggest Pogba to Arsenal. Former Gunner Bacary Sagna also commented, “He suits the Premier League. I’d love to see him at the Emirates.”
