Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini says the team can’t wait to play in the Europa League final and explained that he talked to Jose Mourinho regarding the coaches future at the club. The Giallorossi are almost back to full strength with Paulo Dybala slated to play from the very start, making them marginal favourites for the tie. Speaking in a pre-match presser, Pellegrini talked about the importance of creating a real group within the squad, making them ready for anything:
“I’m very happy because I feel this team to be mine. I feel very close to my teammates and the coach. We have made an amazing journey, full of obstacles. In some games, more sacrifice was needed. We can’t wait to play.”
“There have been so many changes over the years, and sometimes when you change you can lose your way. Together with Mancini, Spinazzola and Cristante we tried to create a strong group, from the outside we give the idea of being a real group and this is the beauty of it.”
