Monza forward Papu Gomez took to Instagram following the rejection of his appeal his appeal against a two-year doping ban: “We will continue to fight”. Monza coach Raffaele Palladino confirmed the news on Friday, saying: “The appeal has been rejected, from what I know. The club will communicate it.”
Awaiting the official statement from Monza, Papu Gomez shared a message on his social media profile reaffirming the determination to fight until the last moment to return to the field.
“Hello everyone. As you know, the appeal has been rejected. It’s very painful and disappointing news. With my team and lawyers, we will continue to fight until the last moment to return to play.”
