During the recent celebrations marking AC Milan’s 125th anniversary, club president Paolo Scaroni made headlines with a bold statement about the rivalry between Milan and Inter.
Reflecting on his journey since moving to Milan, Scaroni shared, “I am from Vicenza, but as soon as I arrived in Milan, I would get lost. I came here to attend Bocconi University and often struggled to remember where San Babila was. To think that after so many years, I am the president of the only team in Milan—because let’s be honest, there is only one true team in Milan—fills me with incredible emotion.”
Scaroni has been at the helm of AC Milan for seven years, a tenure he described as significant and enduring. He remarked, “I have had the pleasure of celebrating both the 120th and now the 125th anniversaries of Milan.”
