Fiorentina secured a 4-2 away victory against St. Gallen in their second Conference League match. Following the game, Fiorentina manager Raffaele Palladino spoke to Sky Sport, expressing his satisfaction with the team’s performance.
Palladino began by praising the team’s approach to the match: “In the first half, we interpreted the game well, with the right attitude. They were pressing us hard, making our play difficult, and we couldn’t find fluidity. We did well in the second half with our movements, we reacted well, and it wasn’t easy. Everyone did well, including those who hadn’t played much recently. These guys deserved a nice satisfaction, and I’m happy for them.”
The manager highlighted the performance of Edoardo Bove: “I’m happy that Bove is doing well. He does great work both in possession and without the ball. He’s our wildcard; he could play anywhere. He sees the game well, he’s intelligent and mature.”
Palladino also discussed the midfield players he requested from the club: “I asked the club for intelligent players in midfield, with great dynamism: Cataldi and Adli are like that. Richardson has quality, technique, vision: he will become a great player.”
Regarding Moise Kean’s injury status ahead of the upcoming match against Roma, Palladino stated: “I have a great medical staff. It’s not easy for him to recover for the Roma game, but we’re trying. If he doesn’t make it, we have valid alternatives that did well tonight, so I’m calm.”
