Fiorentina manager Raffaele Palladino recently shared his thoughts on the team’s performance and key players in an interview with Sky Sport. The coach expressed overall satisfaction with the team’s results while acknowledging areas for improvement.

Reflecting on the season so far, Palladino stated, “I can make a positive assessment based on the results we’ve achieved. We need to improve and we’re working on that. We’ve faced some difficulties, but I see great growth. We’ve only lost once, and that was in our best game. I’m happy now with what we’re expressing.”

Addressing the tactical shift during the Lazio match, Palladino explained, “Nothing happened at halftime. I decided to change the formation because these weren’t unfamiliar instructions. My team can play both with three and four at the back. In today’s football, changing is necessary, and this Fiorentina can do it.”

When asked about the team’s objectives, Palladino emphasized the club’s storied history and ambitions: “Fiorentina is a historic club, and we want to achieve great goals. To do this, we must continue to work hard. This is all we can promise – that we will give everything to improve.”

The coach also expressed confidence in striker Moise Kean, saying, “He has my trust and that of the club. He’s a great professional and has really matured. He must never lose this attitude.”

Palladino was particularly enthusiastic about Andrea Colpani: “I adore him. I think he’s doing well, and I’m happy with his work. I’m really calm about him.”

Discussing the challenges of his new role, Palladino reflected, “I like change. I could have stayed at Monza, but I wanted different ambitions like playing in European competitions. Fiorentina strongly wanted me, so I’m happy. We grow through difficulties. I’m truly happy. Florence is beautiful.”
