Inter Milan have officially secured their first signing of the winter transfer window with the acquisition of Nicola Zalewski from Roma. The Polish winger joins the Nerazzurri on loan with an option to buy.
After extending his contract with Roma, Zalewski has made the move to Inter on a temporary basis. The deal includes a purchase option set between €6 million and €6.5 million, giving Inter the flexibility to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.
The club’s immediate goal is to have Zalewski available for selection as soon as possible, potentially even for the upcoming Milan derby. This quick integration highlights Inter’s eagerness to bolster their squad for the remainder of the season.
Inter Milan released the following statement regarding Zalewski’s arrival:
“FC Internazionale Milano announces that it has finalized the transfer of Nicola Zalewski from AS Roma. The Polish midfielder, born in 2002, joins Inter on a temporary basis with an option to buy.”
