Udinese have officially signed Razvan Sava, an exciting young Romanian goalkeeper, in a permanent deal from CFR Cluj. The talented shot-stopper has signed a contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2029.

Sava, born in Timisoara on June 21, 2002, has made a name for himself with his impressive physical presence, technical skills, and quick reflexes. He already possesses valuable experience at the highest levels of competition, making him a promising addition to Udinese’s squad.

His football journey began in Italy, where he moved at a young age and started playing for Pro Sesto. His standout performances caught the attention of Juventus, who brought him into their youth ranks in 2018. During his time at Juventus, Sava played for the U17 team and trained with the Primavera squad, showcasing his potential before moving on to clubs like Pescara and Lecce.

In the summer of 2020, Sava joined Torino, where he played 27 matches in the Primavera 1 league, gaining significant experience while training with the first team. The following year, he returned to Romania to play for CFR Cluj, where he truly began to shine. In the 2023/24 season, Sava played 40 league matches, two in the Conference League, and three in domestic cup competitions, establishing himself as one of Cluj’s standout performers.

This season, Sava has already made four appearances in the Conference League’s preliminary rounds and five in the league, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star. He won a Romanian league championship during the 2021/22 season and has represented Romania at various youth levels, even earning a call-up to the senior national team.
