Udinese have officially confirmed the signing of FC Cincinnati striker Brenner, who joins them on a five-year deal. The move had been close to completion for several weeks, as talks between Udinese and the MLS side reportedly began almost two months ago. The total cost of the move is expected to be around €10m, with the Brazilian agreeing terms on a contract until June 2028.

The Brazilian forward was picked up from FC Cincinnati on a permanent basis and has signed a contract with Udinese until June 30, 2028.
Brenner is a class of 2000 forward with great technique and scoring ability combined with excellent athletic skills. Traits that allow him to act as a central striker but also to vary on the entire offensive front line.
He was born in Cuiabà on January 16, 2000 and, at a very young age, moved to São Paulo to play the youth sector in one of the most prestigious clubs in South America.
At just 17 years old, he already appeared in the first team, scoring one goal in four league games in 2017.
The following year, he collected 10 appearances between Brasilerao, Copa do Brasil and Sudamericana topped by two goals. In 2019, he moved on loan to Fluminense before returning, the following year, to São Paulo.
2020 was the year of his explosion, scoring an impressive 21 goals, in just four months between August and December after the pandemic break, between the Championship, Copa do Brasil, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.
In 2021, he was bought by FC Cincinnati and flew to MLS, confirming again his scoring abilities with 8 goals scored in his first season and as many as 18, with 6 assists, in the 2022 season.
This year, in the American league that has just started, he scored once in 7 games. Numbers that are an expression of an important talent.
He became South American champion with the Brazilian under-17 national team in 2017.
