Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli have officially confirmed the singing of Brazilian centre-back Roger Ibanez from Roma. The 24-year-old reached an agreement with the Saudi side last week and signed his contract yesterday.
The club confirmed the move in a statement via their social media accounts:
We are glad to announce the signing of Roger Ibañez, from AS Roma, on a 4-year deal Welcome to Al-Ahli, Roger!
Ibanez will reportedly cost Al-Ahli €28.5m in a fixed fee, with €3m add-ons and includes a 20% sell-on clause.
